Wendy Claridy is an evangelist. It has been said of her, “There’s a woman who can preach the house down!” Wherever Wendy goes, the atmosphere becomes electrified with the power of God, as she releases a stirring in the hearts of people for more of His presence in their lives. She has traveled widely, ministering in churches, women’s meetings, and many other venues. The healing and delivering power of God is demonstrated in her services. 

 

Presently, the Lord is using Wendy and her husband, Junior, in their hometown of Bryant, Alabama, where the Lord directed them to begin a church and ministry outreach called Barn Ministry. As a mother and grandmother, she sees the great need to minister also to the youth of today. Included in their vision is the desire to reach the younger generation who every day are under a constant barrage of outside peer pressure, challenging life situations, and seemingly overwhelming odds. Wendy is also President of iWOWi Phoebe Mantle in Bryant, Alabama.

Wendy’s attitude is to get the job done no matter how difficult, and it is this that she imparts to others. Her ministry theme can be said to come from the charge Paul gave to Timothy, “You therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ” (2Ti. 2:3). Wendy is truly a rare gem in the body of Christ.
